PyCharm Plugin

While ormar can be used with any IDE, there is a PyCharm pydantic plug-in that enhances the user experience of this IDE.

The plugin can be found on PyCharm's JetBrains plugin repository: Plugins page.

You can install the plugin for free from the plugin marketplace (PyCharm Preferences-> Plugins-> Marketplace-> Search for "pydantic").

!!!Note that for plug-ins to work properly, you need to provide valid type hints for model fields.

!!!info plug-in supports type hinting, parameter checking, etc., but mainly applies only to init methods
